Argentinian reporter Carlos Ferrara suffered an apparent heart attack and collapsed during a live news broadcast on Thursday.
Ferrara was reporting outside a COVID testing center in Buenos Aires, when he suddenly collapsed while speaking to a colleague.
At the end of the segment, Ferrara said to Channel 9 host Claudio Perez, “Sorry Claudio, sorry.”
Claudio asked “What happened? What happened?” as the camera panned to Ferrara lying face down on the sidewalk. A small pool of blood spreads outward from Ferrara’s head.
Claudio shouted “No!” then composed himself and said, “Well, Carlos had some difficulty. They will surely attend to him. We are going to make a cut.”

Ferrara is the latest reporter to collapse during a live broadcast.
Last week, Brazilian reporter Rafael Silva, 36, collapsed while hosting “Alterosa.” The camera quickly cut away to pre-filmed footage while the TV crew rushed to Silva’s side.
According to Mediate.com, Silva suffered 5 heart attacks in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.
Both journalists reportedly received Covid-19 mRNA injections before suffering heart attacks.
Previously, Silva announced that he had received the third booster shot on Dec. 28. It isn’t clear when Ferrara received his booster.
The incidents of reporters collapsing on air is beginning to strike fear in the hearts of news reporters everywhere.
“Another isolated case of illness in a young boy with no history of health problems,” Federal Deputy Carla Zambelli tweeted along with a video of the incident.
