Former President Barack Obama revealed he tested positive for breakthrough Covid-19 and his only symptom is a “scratchy throat.”

“I just tested positive for COVID. I’ve had a scratchy throat for a couple days, but am feeling fine otherwise,” he tweeted on Sunday. The 60-year-old Democrat seemed to confirm rumors that he and his wife Michelle Obama are living separately.

“Michelle and I are grateful to be vaccinated and boosted, and she has tested negative,” he wrote. “It’s a reminder to get vaccinated if you haven’t already, even as cases go down.”

Despite being triple vaccinated, Obama said he believes he caught COVID in Washington, DC after traveling there from his native Hawaii.

Former presidents Obama, George Bush and Bill Clinton volunteered to take the experimental mRNA vaccines publicly to calm jittery Democrats in December 2020.
