Desperate parents say some retailers charge $600 for baby formula amid the nationwide shortage.

Worried parents called on the U.S. Food & Drug Administration to fix the problem by reopening a Michigan factory that was hit by a bacterial outbreak.

One mother whose baby has severe dairy allergies shared photos of a rash on her son’s back after she was forced to switch formula brands.

One father took to social media to say he traveled 20 miles from his Pennsylvania home for formula for his infant son. He resorted to paying $600 for baby formula on eBay.

Mothers who are unable to breastfeed expressed their frustration over the shortage.

“I was diagnosed with cancer when I was three months pregnant. Breastfeeding is not an option,” one mother said.

The Biden administration plans to meet with manufacturers and retailers to address the nationwide formula shortage.

Congress will hold meetings in two weeks to address the shortage.

Question: Is the baby formula shortage affecting you or anyone you know?
