Stacey Abrams recently held a conversation with about 2 dozen Black men at Fellaship ATL cigar lounge in downtown Atlanta.

The event was hosted by V-103’s Big Tigger.

Abrams, a rumored closeted lesbian, promised that, if elected, she will “show up” for Black men when they need her.

“It’s not enough to get elected, if you don’t do the work,” she said. “And so my mission is to not only show up when I need you, but to show up when you need me.”

She added: “We need a governor who actually sees our people and has a plan for our success. If you share my belief that justice and safety and prosperity and progress are our rights as Georgians, then please vote for me to be the next governor of the great states of Georgia.”

The fellas at the cigar lounge seemed polite and somewhat attentive, but Abrams will need a bigger turnout to carry her over the finish line against incumbent Gov. Brian Kemp in November.

Critics note that she never reveals her talking points – other than to call Georgia “the worst” place to live.

Abrams lost by 55,000 votes to Kemp in 2018, and it looks like history will repeat itself in November.

The responses to Abrams’ video on Twitter were less than enthusiastic.

One Twitter user wrote: “As a black American man. I will [not] vote for a woman who wants to replace me with illegals.”

Another Twitter user wrote, “LMAO. Black men don’t fall for this.”

And a third person tweeted: “Abrams doesn’t like black men.”
