Lizzo is so oppressed. The Grammy-winning pop star, who won the “Music Video for Good” award at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, used her acceptance speech to rant about oppressive laws.
Lizzo asked her fans to go out and vote in the November midterm elections.
“I don’t know what ‘Music Video for Good’ means, but I do know what your vote means, and that’s a f-cking lot,” she said, as the audience cheered.
“Your vote means everything to me, it means everything to making a change in this country. So remember when you’re voting for your favorite artist, vote to change some of these laws that are oppressing us.”
Last year, the morbidly obese pop singer, who has an estimated net worth of $12 million, bragged that her bank account was “so fat” and how she lathers herself in the “expensive oils and creams.”

The “About Damn Time” singer, 34, also pointed out fat-shaming jokes on social media and informed the people who “got something to say about me in the press” that she’s winning.
She explained that her fans have been wondering, “Why don’t you clap back?”
“Because (expletive) I’m winning! This is winning!” she said.
