A popular TikTok couple from Alabama was arrested and charged with murder in the fatal shooting of 29-year-old Dakota Bradshaw in Georgia.

Police arrested Johntae Kavon Collier (right) on August 10, and Eric Dodds (left) on August 16, in Huntsville, Alabama, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation announced Thursday.

Collier and Dodds, both 23, are suspected of killing Bradshaw in his home in Rossville, Georgia, a border town near Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Witnesses described a red truck and a blue Dodge Challenger speeding away from the home around the time of the shooting on August 1.

Collier is being held without bond in the Walker County (Ga.) Jail.

Collier and Dodds have nearly 800,000 followers on TikTok.

Following Collier’s arrest, Dodds took to TikTok to say that Collier is innocent.

“For the past couple of days in the media, I’ve been seeing a lot of things about John and ya’ll are concerned about John. ‘Is he okay? Has he harmed anyone?’ No, he has not done anything to no one. Ya’ll know John – John would not harm a soul…”

He continued: “John is okay. I am okay, you guys. Everything is good. My baby will be home soon.”

Dodds launched a GoFundMe page to raise funds for Collier’s defense. A few days later, Dodds was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service in Huntsville.

Dodd is in the Limestone County Jail awaiting extradition to Georgia.
