Johnny Depp is off the market and dating his married attorney, Joelle Rich, according to published reports.
Rich was one of the attorneys representing Depp during his 2020 libel trial in the United Kingdom.
Rich, who lives in London, represented Depp in his defamation lawsuit against The Sun for calling him a “wife-beater” in a news article.
He lost the case in November 2020, but he kept in contact with Rich, who is married with 2 kids, according to Us Weekly.
A source tells Us Weekly, Johnny and Joelle’s chemistry “is off the charts” and that “it’s serious between them. They are the real deal.”
However, a source tells PEOPLE Depp and Rich “are dating but it’s not serious.”
Rich did not represent Depp in his defamation lawsuit against Amber Heard, which he won earlier this year.
Us Weekly‘s source said Rich was married when she first met Depp but she and her estranged husband are in the process of divorcing.
