Police are searching for a brazen girl gang wearing green bodysuits that attacked and robbed several women in a NYC subway.
The incident happened on the N train in Astoria around 2 a.m. Sunday. Cell phone video posted by @CrimeInNYC on Twitter shows six females wearing green bodysuits board the train and immediately begin attacking two female passengers. The women were robbed of their money, valuables, and cell phones in the brutal attack.
Two men on the train did not lift a finger to help the victims. Eventually other passengers blocked the doors to prevent the attackers from getting back on the train.

According to the NY Post, a 19-year-old victim was standing on an N train platform at 42nd Street when several women grabbed her purse.
There is speculation that the gang believed the green bodysuits would render them invisible on surveillance cameras — similar to CGI green screen effect in movies.
The mother of one of the victims responded angrily against the attackers who are still at large.
“Animals belong behind bars. Make an example of them. What happened to the New York City we all loved? Start fixing it now!”
According to CNN, crime is up 72% in New York City.
