R&B icon Anita Baker announces her first tour in 28 years. The tour celebrates the 40th anniversary of her solo debut album, The Songstress, featuring her hit single “Angel.”
Baker will visit 15 cities around the country. The tour stops include Atlanta, New Orleans, Baltimore, Chicago, Detroit, Memphis, Houston, Dallas, and Los Angeles, and more. Additional cities may be added later.
Tickets go on sale Thursday, November 17th at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. A Live Nation pre-sale takes place on November 16th (use access code HEADLINE).
Baker, 64, is best known for her Platinum-selling second album, Rapture, which included the Grammy-winning single “Sweet Love”, “Caught Up in the Rapture”, and “No One in the World.”
The eight-time Grammy Awards winner scored four Platinum albums and two Gold albums.
