Chris Paul gave generous graduation gifts to each of his classmates when he finally earned his degree from Winston-Salem State University after 19 years.
The Phoenix Suns point guard gifted his classmates $2,500 each when he graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Winston-Salem State University on Friday, Complex.com reported.
After the Suns beat the Los Angeles Clippers 111-95 on Thursday, Paul flew to North Carolina to graduate with the December 2022 class. Paul wore a red cap and gown in a photo posted on Twitter.com.

Paul, 37, first began studying for his bachelor’s degree in 2003, but his studies were put on hold when he was chosen by the New Orleans Hornets with the No. 4 pick in the 2005 NBA Draft.
According to ESPN‘s Marc J. Spears, Paul gave every graduate $2,500 – but not at all at once.
Spears said Paul deposited $100 into their Greenwood account and he will cover their $200 per month membership for ELEVATE for a full year. For a total value of $2,500 for each WSU graduate.

Paul made headlines earlier this month when Ye West, formerly Kanye West, accused him of sleeping with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian. She issued a statement denying the accusation.
