Shemar Moore is expecting his first child at age 52. The “Criminal Minds” star focused on his acting career for most of his life.
Now the middle-aged actor is expecting his first child with girlfriend Jesiree Dizon, 39.
The Instagram model is already mom to two children from previous relationships.
In an interview with Jennifer Hudson, Moore said he began to worry that he might miss his chance to be a father if he waited too long.
“I was worried for a while that maybe that ship had sailed kind of thing, and, you know, God had my back and things lined up. It’s going to be the best part of my life,” he said. “My life is pretty grand but I know once God does call my name, once I get this experience, I’ll be able to go to heaven whole.”
Moore later shared a video on Instagram of the gender reveal with Dizon.
“I honestly just want whatever is healthy, happy like (Shemar) says, ’10 fingers, 10 toes,'” Dizon told the camera. “I’m just so excited for this portion of our life together, and it’s going to be amazing.”
Dizon is mom to son Kaiden, 16, and daughter Charli, 5.
