Draya Michele‘s baby daddy, Orlando Scandrick, welcomed a son with WNBA’s Dearica Hamby.
Orlando announced the birth of his son, Legend Marre Scandrick, on social media. In addition to a son, Jru, by Draya, Orlando has minor twins, Tatyana and Taylor, from a previous relationship.
He was engaged to Draya in 2015, but they eventually split. The 38-year-old mom-of-two (pictured) is still close to his twin daughters.
Dearica already has a daughter, Amaya Marie, by her husband, Alonzo Nelson-Ododa, a 30-year-old professional basketball player from Atlanta.
Dearica and Alonzo were still married when she announced her pregnancy last year. He apparently departed after she told him the baby wasn’t his.
Dearica was traded from the Las Vegas Aces to the Los Angeles Sparks on Jan. 2. In an emotional Instagram post after the trade, the then-pregnant 29-year-old accused the Aces of trading her because “they feared she would get pregnant again.”
The two-time WNBA All-Star slammed the Aces for “bullying and lying.” She said the stress sent her blood pressure through the roof.
“I have had my character and work ethic attacked,” she wrote. “I was promised things to entice me to sign my contract extension that were not followed through on. I was accused of signing my extension knowingly pregnant. This is false.”
