A South Carolina man was arrested for showing up at Rihanna’s Los Angeles home to propose to her on bended knee, Thursday, March 23.
According to reports, the lovestruck fan traveled from his S.C. home to LA with the intention of proposing to the mom-of-2.
The man was detained by Rihanna’s security until police arrived at Rihanna’s $13.8 million Beverly Hills home around 12:30 pm. He was taken to a police station where he was questioned and released.
Rihanna, 35, has beefed up security after the intrusion. It’s unknown if she was home at the time.
Sources say she’s in fear for her family’s safety.
Earlier this week, the Bajan star made a fan’s dream come true when they met in a grocery store in Los Angeles.
The fan, Stacey Roimen, is a Kenyan content creator living in Los Angeles. She uploaded a video of herself with Rihanna at a Bristol Farms supermarket.

In February Rihanna confirmed her second pregnancy after welcoming a son with rapper A$AP Rocky last year.
She also performed “Lift Me Up” from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever at the Oscar Awards ceremony on March 12.
