Young Thug was let out of jail to attend the funeral service for his oldest sister, Angela Grier, who died suddenly on March 25.

An Instagram blog noted that Thugger attended his sister’s funeral accompanied by a police escort.

“They let lil Jeff come see his sister,” the blogger wrote.

The IG blog, @411uncut, posted images from the service, but there are no photos of the rapper, real name Jeffery Williams, at the funeral.

Young Thug, 31, reportedly wore a tailored suit with white Air Force 1s.

The rapper and his sister were very close. Grier recently shared a photo of her brother flexing his muscles behind bars. She captioned the image: “My heart.”

Young Thug is one of 11 siblings. His celebrity friends, including Tiny Harris, Metro Boomin, and Trinidad James paid tribute to Grier online.
