An Ohio school bus driver who went viral on TikTok for cursing at students on her bus says she won’t be back.
Cell phone video shows feisty bus driver Jackie Miller park her bus to curse at rowdy students.
The video shows Miller approach a student and ask her for perfume that was sprayed inside the bus. The student denied spraying perfume.
“Goddamnit, how much more do you expect me to f***ing take?” Miller yelled at the students.
“I’m sick of all of this shit. I’m done with it. I’m going to start kicking some f***ing serious ass,” she says at another point. “Do you hear me? My foot’s going to be so far up your god damn ass it’s going to dangle out your god damn nose.”
“You like to start sh*t, too, Mya! You’re no innocent angel here,” she told one student, before threatening to abandon the bus and make the students walk home.
After the video went viral, gaining millions of views, Miller apologized before resigning her position with the Amherst Exempted Village school district on March 30.
Miller said she wouldn’t take back what she said to the students.
“I’m sorry for the way this went down, I truly am,” Miller told WKYC on Monday. “I do apologize for my actions, but I won’t take it back.”
Miller later said she has asthma and that perfumes and other aromas can trigger asthma attacks, according to WKYC. Miller said she had an asthma attack the month before and that the girls knew spraying perfume was a health issue for her.
“She sprayed perfume on the bus and I had a horrible asthma attack,” Miller told WKYC. “I had to stop the bus, grab my inhaler and try to get my lungs to open up again. I had all the kids open up all the windows. They know this.”
“That particular day was challenging to say the very least because it started the minute this core group of students got on the bus,” Miller told WKYC.
A GoFundMe page raised over $50,000 for Miller’s early retirement. The students were not punished for misbehaving on the bus.
