Update 3: Madonna is bedridden and vomiting uncontrollably since being released from a NY hospital on Thursday.

The 64-year-old “Material Girl” singer was rushed to a hospital on Saturday after she was found unconscious at her Manhattan apartment.

There are rumors that she signed herself out of the hospital against medical advice after her vital signs stabilized. But Madonna is bedridden at home and she can’t keep her food down, according to TMZ.

TMZ reported that the pop superstar reportedly had a high fever for a month, which could cause dehydration and electrolyte imbalance.

Madonna may have overexerted herself by “strenuously rehearsing” for weeks and putting in “12-hour days” in preparation for her upcoming “Celebration” tour.

Update 2: Pop icon Madonna was discharged from a NY hospital and is recovering at home after being treated for a “serious” bacterial infection.

A source told Fox News Digital, “She is home and feeling better.”

According to Page Six, Madonna received a police escort to her Manhattan apartment.

Madonna was found unconscious at her home on Saturday and rushed to a hospital, where she was admitted to ICU for several days.

Her family said they feared the worst and thought they would lose her.

Update: CNN Medical Analyst Dr. Leana Wen suggests that pop icon Madonna may be hospitalized with bacterial pneumonia. Dr. Wen was also hospitalized with bacterial pneumonia last week.

In an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Dr. Wen said, “I’m just getting over pneumonia myself… last week I had severe shortness of breath & chest pain & ended up being hospitalized for pneumonia.”

Dr. Wen was criticized in 2021 for saying unvaccinated Americans should not be allowed to leave their homes.

Wen is the former President of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America.

Madonna is in a NY hospital recovering from a serious bacterial infection. The pop icon was found unconscious on Saturday. She was rushed to a hospital and intubated for at least one night.

According to Page Six, Madonna’s longtime manager, Guy Oseary, confirmed the 64-year-old pop legend’s medical condition in a post on Instagram Wednesday. He said that his client had “developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several day stay in the ICU.”

The Queen of Pop is now “out of the ICU,” Oseary explained in his post, “She is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected.”

“We will share more details with you as soon as we have them,” he added.

Oseary said he will announce a new start date for Madonna’s tour and rescheduled tour dates.

Madonna’s tour had been set to start in Europe on Oct. 14 before returning to North America on Dec. 13 and continuing through Jan. 30, 2024.
