Actors Gabrielle Union and Taraji P. Henson made shocking fashion statements at Netflix’s screening of “The Perfect Find” during the American Black Film Festival in Miami on Friday.
According to lifestyle blogger Tami Reed, of Talkingwithtami.com, Gabrielle, 50, wore a Burc Akyol gown and thong with a strip of cloth across her butt to protect her modesty.
“Just enough to get a glimpse,” Gabrielle wrote in the caption of a video shared on Instagram. Swipe left to see the video below.
Taraji, 53, wore a black Missoni floor length gown with black tape on her nipples.
“I’m just NOT feeling it at all! Taraji’s hair & makeup could have been a lot better too,” said Tami. Other critics wondered why the ladies chose such shocking attire for the Black Film Festival during the Juneteenth holiday in America.
Tami wrote:
“I normally rock with Gabrielle because she usually wears really nice designer pieces but this was a total fail to me! Gabby took some awesome photos in this look on her social media but these photos on from the red carpet shows another side, no mam! I will say the hair & makeup an accessories were perfect though!”
In “The Perfect Find”, Gabrielle stars as middle-aged fashion editor Jenna whose career comeback hits a snag when she falls for her boss’s son, Eric (Keith Powers). As sparks fly, Jenna must decide if she’ll risk it all for a forbidden romance with a much younger man.
