A teenager is charged with running over a woman during a dispute in a mall parking lot in Cobb County, Georgia on Sunday.
18-year-old Vanessa Robinson is accused of running down 25-year-old Paige Jenkins in a parking lot at Cumberland Mall.
Jenkins, her sister Kecia Lewis and their dad were returning to their car after attending an Atlanta Braves game when the hit-and-run occurred.
Lewis told Fox 5’s Deidra Dukes that she and Robinson exchanged words after the teenager told her to watch where she was going.
Lewis said her sister, Paige, heard the argument and told Robinson to watch where she was going.
Robinson drove off then circled back around before running Jenkins over.
Jenkins was transported to Kennestone Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
“She ran over my sister’s body like she was trash. Like she was nobody,” Lewis said as she fought back tears.
“It was no accident,” said Lewis. “She knew what she was doing.”
Robinson fled the scene, but Cobb County police tracked her down and arrested her in Fairburn, Georgia.
Robinson is facing felony murder and aggravated assault charges. She remains in the Cobb County Jail.
