Singer Tori Kelly was rushed to a hospital after collapsing at dinner on Sunday. Kelly reportedly complained that her heart was beating fast before she fainted at a downtown Los Angeles restaurant.
Her dinner companions drove her to the emergency room at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The 2X Grammy-winning singer was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit where doctors discovered multiple blood clots in her lungs and legs, TMZ reports.
The 30-year-old musician is listed in serious but stable condition as of Monday.
The “Unbothered” singer, born Victoria Loren Kelly, was preparing for her big return with her new EP, tori, when she suffered a medical emergency.
Kelly was a vocal supporter of the mRNA Covid vaccines and she was fully vaccinated. Twitter was buzzing with conspiracy theories about the mRNA COVID vaccines on Monday.
One person wrote: “Tori Kelly took part in the EMI lockdown concert, which was just one piece of the massive jigsaw of fear propaganda to sell the global elite’s covid vaccine scam. We hope she recovers, but ‘fate’ can at times indeed “be a bitch.”
A second person tweeted: “Tori Kelly suffered tachycardia, followed by a loss of consciousness. Doctors found blood clots in her legs and lungs. Undoubtedly a Covid-19 vaccine-induced cardiac condition like myocarditis. Prayers for all the people who got the diabolical jab.”
A third user wrote: “that damn vaccine almost took Tori Kelly out?!”
Kelly was scheduled to perform at the Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood on Friday, The Times reported. There is no word on whether the concert is cancelled or will be rescheduled.
