A TikToker named Pinkydoll earns over $200,000 a month for pretending to be a video game character and licking ice cream emojis.

Pinkydoll is among a growing trend of TikTok content creators who earn a living behaving like robots all day.

According to reports, the trend, known as NPC, involves creators pretending to be non-playable video game characters. Their followers pay them to do various actions and say repetitive phrases like “gang gang.”

Hundreds of fans send content creators like Pinkydoll emojis that trigger her to say catchphrases like “Thank you, baby. Ice cream so good.”

According to The Guardian, Pinkdoll claims she earns about $7,000 a day from a livestream with over 3.5 million likes on one video.

Followers give virtual gifts or tokens to creators who can then redeem them for cash. However, TikTok takes 50% of the cash off the top before paying the creator.
