Fans tried to shame Serena Williams for baring her belly bump in a cute striped Gucci knit skirt set. The tennis champ posted photos of her stylish maternity outfit on her Instagram page.
She captioned the photo slide: “I’ve been waiting a long time… for this moment to come… I’m destined for anything at all.”
But fans mocked Serena for trying to dress like pregnant pop singer Rihanna, who pioneered the trend of baring her pregnant baby bump in public.
“She dressing like Rihanna now,” one person wrote in the comments.
But Serena is not the first pregnant star to imitate Rihanna.
Serena’s true fans praised her for being stylish and confident in her appearance.

Serena, 41, is expecting her second child with Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, 40. They are parents to 5-year-old daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr.
