LeBron James and his son Bronny James visited the renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota for further cardiac treatment.
Bronny, 18, suffered a cardiac arrest during basketball practice at USC on July 24. He was released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center a few days later.
Apparently, Bronny’s health has not progressed as well as they had hoped. So LeBron and Bronny jetted off to Minnesota to visit cardiology specialists at The Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic.
Father and son were spotted in and around the Mayo Clinic over the weekend, according to TMZ.
Following one of their visits to the medical facility on Monday, they grabbed dinner with friends at Terza Ristorante in downtown.
In video from the scene, obtained by TMZ Sports, LeBron was mobbed by screaming fans when he got into a waiting SUV. Fans pulled out their phones while surrounding the SUV.
It’s unclear how Bronny’s cardiac arrest will affect his future basketball career. He plans to sit out his first semester at USC.
The USC Trojans are currently in Greece without Bronny. The team is preparing for a series of exhibition games next week.
