The Internet is very suspicious of a TMZ video that appears to show disgraced actor Jonathan Majors breaking up a “fight” between 2 anonymous high school girls near a Los Angeles In-N-Out Burger restaurant.
The “Kang the Conqueror” actor allegedly broke up the fight in the parking lot of Hollywood High School, across the street from the fast food restaurant on Sunset Boulevard. Many are wondering why Majors was at the high school.
One Twitter/X user called the video “the worst PR stunt in the century.”
“You see Jonathan Majors break up that fight? Sh*t was so staged!” another user added.
One meme compared Majors breaking up the “fight” to a scene from Michael Jackson’s “Beat It” video.
Majors and his legal team are going all out to prove his innocence ahead of his assault trial.
Skeptics claim actress Meagan Good was “hired” to repair Majors’ public image by proving he likes Black women. She made two appearances with him at pre-trial hearings in Manhattan recently.
Now a video has gone viral showing Majors playing superhero by breaking up a minor squabble between two unidentified girls.
“The PR team are geniuses for making the first search results for ‘Jonathan Majors beat up girl’ to be a video of Majors interfering [sic] two girls beating each other up,” a Twitter user wrote.
The video went viral weeks after Disney confirmed a new movie featuring the MCU star will be released to theaters.
Majors was “canceled” after he allegedly beat and choked his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, earlier this year.
Majors denies hitting Jabbari during an alleged altercation on March 25. The location of the altercation has changed several times. First it occurred in a taxi, then on a sidewalk in Chinatown.
Now Majors claims Jabbari broke her finger and suffered a cut to her ear during a drunken fall, while alone in his Lower Manhattan penthouse apartment.
His evidence includes selfie photos of his own “injuries” that he noticed after spending the night at the Mark Hotel on Manhattan’s Upper East Side after the alleged incident.
Majors claims he awoke to find “his face stuck to the hotel pillow with dried blood from the large gash delivered by Ms. Jabbari’s fingernails in the car,” the defense lawyer wrote in a court filing.
The collection of evidence photos also includes a hotel pillow with a small spot of dried blood on it and a photo of his coat with a missing button. There is also a photo of what appears to be scratches on his wrist.
Majors’ legal team provided a surveillance video that shows Jabbari “clawing at” Majors’ coat on a sidewalk eight minutes after prosecutors say Majors broke her hand and smacked her head hard enough to make her ear bleed in a taxi.
The main charge of misdemeanor assault is punishable by up to one year in jail. Majors is also charged with misdemeanor attempted assault, which carries a potential maximum sentence of 90 days in jail.
Major is scheduled to return to court on Friday, Sept. 15, when a trial date may be set.
In the meantime, the court of public opinion has already found Majors guilty of assaulting his ex-girlfriend.
