On Tuesday, paparazzi photos surfaced online that shows Little Mermaid star Halle Bailey with a protruding belly. Fans speculate that she is at least 5 months pregnant.
However, a Backgrid.com photographer snapped these photos of Halle last Wednesday (Oct. 11). The photos do not appear to show a baby bump.
Halle isn’t the first celebrity to fake a pregnancy. One of the funniest bloopers occurred when Beyonce’s baby bump folded in half on live television in 2011.
Disney reportedly pulled Halle’s song from Oscar consideration due to the unwed pregnancy rumors. Disney is a family-oriented network.
Halle is still listed as a potential Best Actress Oscar nominee, but she has little chance of winning. Her best chance to win an Oscar was in the Best Original Song category.
Disney has not revealed why she was pulled from Oscar consideration for best song.
