NYC council member Chi Ossé posted a screenshot showing he’s a member of the exclusive, invitation-only Raya dating app.

Ossé, who is an openly gay Democrat, posted a screen grab of his iPhone desktop that shows him deleting Twitter/X. He captioned the screenshot, “Good riddance.”

Ossé is the latest public figure to delete Twitter ahead of the app moving to subscription-only.

But Ossé’s screenshot also revealed he is a member of the exclusive, invitation-only Raya dating app.

Membership is by invitation from another registered member, such as celebrities, influencers, politicians, and wealthy people.

According to Page Six, the Raya app launched in 2015, and was advertised as an “online membership-based community for dating, networking and making new friends.”

But Raya quickly became known as the exclusive app for influencers, artists and celebrities looking to find love or a hookup.

According to Page Six, a famous friend invited Sherri Shepherd to join Raya.

“Chris Rock did verify my account because you need somebody to verify,” the talk show host told Raya member Andy Cohen on WWHL in September 2023.

She continued: “It’s a little bit of a playground, but it’s OK. ‘Get out there,’ is what I say.”
