Cardi B slammed President Biden for newly proposed $120 million budget cuts to the NYPD, schools, sanitation, and other city services.
Mayor Eric Adams made the proposed cuts to help pay for the influx of illegal immigrants into his city.
Dressed in a grey bathrobe and purple bonnet, the concerned rapper said the budget cuts will bring more rats and higher crime to New York City.
Cardi B expressed concern that speaking out about President Biden’s policies might cause problems for her.
“I need y’all to spread this f–king video and if something happens to me, it’s because I’m speaking truth,” she said in an Instagram Live video on Saturday night. “So, God forbid something happens to me or my family or some shit. It’s because ni–as is after me ’cause I’m speaking the truth.”
“There’s going to be a $120 million budget cut with schools, with libraries and the cops and the police department, and a $5 million budget cut in sanitation … Bitch, we going to be drowning with rats. We’re going to be drowning in f–king rats.”
Cardi, a registered Democrat who endorsed Joe Biden for president, now realizes that her city’s problems are a direct result of Biden’s border policies.
“I don’t give a f–k, I’m not endorsing no f—ing presidents no more,” she said on Instagram Live.
“How is that a hundred million dollar budget cut in New York City for f–king schools, library, police safety, and sanitation? Yet Joe Biden talking about like, ‘Yeah, we can fund two wars.’ … Motherf–kers talking about ‘We don’t got it’ but ‘We got it,’ like we’re the greatest nation. No, the f–k we’re not. We’re going through some shit right now.”
The Bronx rapper, who also owns property in Georgia, expressed concern for her family members who live in New York and will be affected by the budget cuts.
“I’m lucky, I’m blessed, I’m whatever the f–k. But what’s gonna happen to my nieces, what’s gonna happen to my nephews, what’s gonna happen to my cousins? My aunts, my friends … that’s living in the hood?”
Cardi warned that other states will experience the same budget cuts, while Biden spends billions to fund wars in other countries.
“I can’t even f–king explain it. I’m scared to explain things … but the point is, that it’s like we cannot fund these wars, we can barely fund this country. Finish it. Y’all need to finish it. Stop fronting like you got the f–king money. You don’t got no money, you ain’t got no sugar for your hunnies … These leaders, they don’t have our best interests … I’m always gonna speak for the people.”
