Lauren London will receive a hefty $5.6 million payday and a 50% ownership stake in Nipsey Hussle’s estate on behalf of their 7-year-old son, Kross. Lauren received the ownership from Nipsey’s older brother, Blacc Sam, who filed a report that valued the estate at $11 million.
Nipsey’s holdings consists of $7 million cash spread across various bank accounts, as well as $4 million from various companies, a 2012 Chevy Suburban, and more.
Nipsey’s kids, Emani and Kross, will inherit an equal amount of 50% of the estate. The settlement comes amid a bitter legal battle between Nipsey’s estate and Tanisha Foster, the mother of Nipsey’s eldest child, Emani.
After his death at age 33 in 2019, Nipsey’s family was granted physical custody of Emani. They claimed that Foster was not fit to care for Emani. Foster said Nipsey’s family used “their financial position and influence” to win the child custody case.
During a court hearing in September, Foster was granted an increase in visitations with Emani, who is now 15-years-old.
Lauren, 38, also has a 14-year-old son, Kameron, with rapper Lil Wayne.
