Actress Sheryl Lee Ralph-Hughes is officially off the market. The “Abbott Elementary” star, 66, is moving in with her husband after 18 years of marriage.

According to The Jasmine Brand, the “Dreamgirls” icon has finally decided to live under the same roof as her husband, Senator Vincent Hughes, 67.

Sheryl briefly commented on her bi-coastal marriage in a recent sit-down interview. “We don’t live together!” she laughed when asked about her husband.

Sheryl said their long distance marriage worked well for them until it didn’t.

“I see him every two weeks. And when I see him, I’m so happy to see him, and then when I’m leaving, I’m so happy to leave because I know I’ll be back again! Yeah, it works!”

Sheryl and Hughes, a member of the Pennsylvania State Senate, were married in 2005. They agreed to live separate lives since the beginning. But the lovebirds briefly moved in together during the 2020 lockdowns. Afterwards, Sheryl moved back to her home in California while her politician husband was based in Pennsylvania.

However, the Emmy-winning actress is reportedly ready to move to Philadelphia full-time to be with Hughes and will commute to Los Angeles for her role in “Abbott Elementary.”

A source said, “Sheryl’s work on Abbott Elementary keeps her anchored in L.A., while Vincent’s responsibilities tie him to Philadelphia — but regular visits every two weeks is no longer enough.”

“She will still travel to L.A. to work, but the moment the camera stops rolling, she’s heading home to her husband!”
