Ray captioned the photo: “Went to visit my brother yesterday, man had the freshest cleanest air forces I even seen. Spirit so high & energy so great. We standing with you Forever, you’ll be home soon.”
Tory was convicted in December 2022 of three felony counts in the shooting of fellow rapper and ex-girlfriend Megan Thee Stallion. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison in August 2023.
The prison photo went viral a day after Tory’s legal team asked a judge to vacate his prison sentence. Tory’s driver allegedly implicated Megan’s former best friend Kelsey Harris as the shooter.
On Wednesday, Dec. 13, a legal document surfaced that shows Tory’s driver allegedly saying Kelsey shot Megan.
If you recall, Tory’s driver never took the witness stand during Tory’s trial.
However, in a livestream video on Thursday, Megan was adamant that Kelsey did not shoot her.
“I know who shot me, I said who shot me and that’s why the f*ck you in jail!” Megan said, referring to Tory.
Tory is eligible for parole in September 2029.
Meanwhile, Tubi TV reacted to the backlash over a trailer for a film titled “The Rapper Who Got Shot in the Heel.”
Tubi stated they have no affiliation with the production company and have no plans to stream “The Rapper Who Got Shot in the Heel.”
Tubi has worked with the production company on a prior TV movie titled “The Nurse that Saw a Baby on the Highway.” Both films were inspired by true stories.
Megan Thee Stallion says that her former best friend Kelsey Harris did not shoot her after Tory Lanez's bodyguard claims Kelsey had a gun on the night of the shooting.
