The much-anticipated trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 has been released and gamers are in a frenzy over the beautiful women and sun soaked scenery.
The trailer racked up nearly 70 million views in less than 16 hours and is on pace to break the record for one-day views set by South Korean boy band BTS.
The game, which will be released in 2025, is set in fictional Vice City and features its first female lead character Lucia who was just released from prison.
The official trailer was released on Tuesday after an earlier version leaked online.
“Our trailer has leaked so please watch the real thing,” Rockstar Games said in a post on Twitter/X.
Grand Theft Auto is infamous for its hedonism, debauchery, prostitutes, strippers, drug deals, gun play, and x-rated scenes.
But one scene in particular triggered angry backlash online. The scene shows a Black woman twerking on top of a car.
All of the cultural stereotypes are thrown into the GTA6 trailer.
One Twitter/X user wrote:
“I’m glad I grew up on GTA 5 so I just stab people with glass bottles and do carjackings. If I grew up on GTA 6 I’d be twerking on a cop car and drinking a fourty while picking my teeth with a chicken wing bone after a bit meal of watermelon and weed.”
Last month, actor James Woods re-posted an old video that shows Black women twerking on top of a police car.

Woods’ followers posted racist comments aimed at the twerkers. One Twitter/X user referred to them as “baboons”.
Another user wrote:
“They will twerk anywhere they can. Be it in a nice restaurant, or on top of a moving cop car. It’s the ‘LOW IQ’ dance. It fends off any respectable male companions, while attracting ‘LOW IQ’ black dudes. No valuable male wants their future kids mother to be a nasty thot.”
