A Manhattan judge has ordered the release of sealed documents naming 180 people who may have visited Jeffrey’s Epstein’s private “island of sin.”
U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska ordered the documents unsealed on Monday, December 18.
The dozens of documents include names of 180 people linked to the disgraced financier, as well as photographs.
Other names will remain under seal, including the names of minor victims who never spoke publicly about the case and a man who the judge said was wrongly identified as an alleged perpetrator by a reporter.
At least one woman begged the court not to release her name, insisting that her life could be in danger.
The order comes years after a 2015 lawsuit between Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre and his former lover and accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, was completed in 2017.
Maxwell is currently serving 20 years in a Club Fed-style prison camp in Florida.
Epstein took his own life, at age 66, in a Manhattan jail cell on August 10, 2019.
