Halle Bailey ended speculation about her baby by confirming she welcomed a son in 2023. The singer/actress shared a photo of the infant’s hand in a post on Instagram.
She captioned the post: “Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son.. welcome to the world my halo. the world is desperate to know you.
The 23-year-old baby mama named her son after one of mentor Beyonce’s greatest hits. The baby’s father is aspiring rapper DDG.
Halle’s fans are disappointed that she chose an aspiring rapper to father her child. They are concerned that she will be supporting DDG for the next 18 years.
One fan wrote: “Big mistake on her part. A) having a kid at the height of her career and B) doing it with a low rent “rapper.”
Another person wrote: “He has a history of disrespecting her, the mother of his child.”
While a third fan wrote: “I wish I were happier about this, but seeing a bright, talented, beautiful woman permanently attach herself to some shi**y loser guy makes me so sad.”
And a fifth fan said: “At the peak of her career too. Like it’ll slow down her career and projects especially in an industry like this no matter what.”
Halle rose to fame as one half of the popular sister duo Chloe x Halle with her older sister Chloe Bailey, 25.
The siblings were discovered by Beyonce while performing song covers on YouTube. She signed them to her Parkwood Entertainment, and they released their debut EP Sugar Symphony in 2016.
Helle is best known for her role as Ariel in the animated Disney film The Little Mermaid (2023).
