The streets say Mims’s murder was “get back” (retaliation) for Memphis rap legend Young Dolph’s death in 2021.

Rumor has it that Mims (founder of CMG record label) paid $40,000 to assassinate Dolph (founder of P.R.E. record label).

Mims was reportedly upset that Dolph referred to him as Yo Gotti’s “big sister” and other insults in his diss song “Play Wit’ Yo B*tch.”

P.R.E. rappers are celebrating Big Jook’s death on social media.

One P.R.E. member wrote on Instagram: “1 down 2 more to go,” in reference to Mims and rappers Yo Gotti and Blac Youngsta.
