A panicky 911 caller said a friend identified rapper Young Thug as the gunman in a shooting in 2013.
Young Thug, real name Jeffery Williams, is on trial for multiple gang-related RICO charges.
Audio of a 911 call was played in the courtroom. Young Thug and other YSL gang associates listened as the audio was played.
An unidentified woman says she is calling for her friend, who claimed Young Thug was in her apartment on Atlanta’s South Side.
“The guy who shot the other guy over here on Cleveland Avenue, he’s in my friend’s apartment and she’s panicking and she don’t know what to do,” the woman told the 911 dispatcher. “She got her mama and her baby in there.”
The woman said she didn’t know who was shot.
She continued: “The only thing I know is she came to my house and told me that the guy name Young Thug, whoever that’s supposed to be, shot somebody and this guy is at her house.”

Young Thug was never charged with a shooting in 2013. He is currently in the Cobb County Jail without bond.
The news comes after YSL defense attorney Nicole Fegan was arrested.
Fegan was arrested on gang-related charges in Gwinnett County, Ga.
She paid a $40,000 bond and was released from the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta on Friday.
Fegan faces charges of participating in criminal street gang activity and tampering with evidence, according to the Atlanta Police Department.
She is accused of contacting a shooting suspect and tipping him off about the investigation.
Fegan’s arrest is based on information that she contacted a suspect involved in the shooting of two men at Williams Street and Baker Street in Northwest Atlanta on Sept. 27, 2022.
One of the shooting victims died, according to police.
