Squatters have taken over 1,200 vacant homes in the Atlanta area, according to reports.
Four squatters transformed a vacant house into an illegal strip club, the NY Post reported.
According to the National Rental Home Council (NRHC), the police response in Democrat Atlanta has been minimal.

Police complain that evicting squatters in Atlanta is “a pretty big challenge.”
One Twitter/X user wrote: “Squatting should be illegal in every state. This is insane that squatters have more rights than legal property owners!”
According to reports, homeowners are reconsidering listing their homes for rent. And other residents are afraid to go on vacation.
They know that squatters are checking multiple listing sites like Zillow.com for vacant homes.
“I’d be terrified in Atlanta to lease out one of my properties,” Matt Urbanski told Bloomberg.
Urbanski’s company cleans out homes for corporate landlords.
Recently one of his employees was shot after attempting to remove squatters from a property.
Jeremy Wheat, Kelvin Hall, and two other men were arrested for breaking into a vacant house and turning it into an illegal strip club in South Fulton County, Atlanta.
Police moved quickly to arrest the four because they weren’t paying taxes to the county for their illegal enterprise.
A SWAT team recovered two stolen cars, a stolen firearm and stolen credit cards from the house, according to a local news report.
