Actor Tyrin Turner (left) denies rumors that he and comedian Jamie Foxx are secret lovers.
Incarcerated inmate Suge Knight first outed the two men on his jailhouse podcast last week.
Then industry veteran Reggie Wright confirmed the allegations during his appearance on the “Bomb 1st” podcast.
Reggie claimed Tyrin previously “lived off of Jamie Foxx” and they both lived together at one point. “I don’t know if Jamie used KY jelly on him,” Reggie speculated.
He continued: “Generally, guys that are homosexuals, they have to overcompensate for theyself [sic] and like to be tough… Every interview that he’s doing, he’s beating up people or got into a fight with somebody,” Reggie said, referring to Tyrin.
Tyrin, 52, is best known for his role in the 1993 coming-of-age movie Menace II Society.
He denied the allegations in an interview on the “The Art Of Dialogue” podcast.
Tyrin (left) didn’t deny that he and Jamie (right) are very close, but he insisteed they are just friends.
“Me and Jamie have been like brothers and best friends for years. What people don’t understand is that we do a lot of business together. So you may have seen us a lot,” Tyrin explained.
The married father of two children also added, “When you’re dealing with people, people want to throw the little gay rumor [on you]. Somebody always gotta be gay in the world. I know what I like.”
Tyrin also said there is nothing wrong with being gay.
“I would’ve never thought in a million years that Suge would put something out there like that of somebody being gay, especially in the time that we’re living in where it’s okay.”
Last week, rapper Meek Mill denied similar rumors in a series of frantic Twitter/X posts.
Music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones dropped a hint that Meek and disgraced music mogul Sean Combs were lovers.
