The event served as both a celebration and a call to action in the ongoing battle against domestic violence.

Following Bobbi Kristina’s tragic death, the Brown family pursued legal action against her boyfriend Nick Gordon. The complaint alleged assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

In 2016, a judge found Gordon legally responsible for Bobbi Kristina’s death. The court ordered him to pay her estate $36 million.

Gordon died from a drug overdose in Florida on January 1, 2020.

The Bobbi Kristina Serenity House, a non-profit organization founded by Bobby and Alicia Etheredge-Brown in 2015, stands as a beacon of hope in the fight against domestic violence.
