Rick Ross has been caught in another lie. A watch expert busted the rapper for rocking a fake $3 million Audemars Piguet watch.
Image is everything to a narcissist like rapper Rick Ross. He managed to convince the Robb Report that he owned an extremely rare Audemars Piguet emerald timepiece worth over $3 million.
The Robb Report took him at his word.
However, watch expert Nico Leonard van der Horst put Ross on blast in an Instagram live video.
Van Der Horst captioned the video:
“Rick Ross ( @richforever ) stating that his watch is worth 3.25 million while it’s only worth Scrap Value! It’s a FAKE watch bro! Ps: @robbreport You guys are an embarrassment, DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE POSTING SOMETHING!”
Horst explained there is only one emerald Audemars Piguet watch in the world – and Ross is not the owner of it.
Van Der Horst said the real owner of the emerald green AP watch is not happy that Ross is flaunting a fake.
The guy sent van Der Horst a photo of the real watch, which came as a set of 5 watches crafted from precious gems.
In this side-by-side comparison, the color, quality and craftsmanship of the real AP on the left are different from Ross’s watch.
The only way Ross’s watch is real is if he stole it from the owner.
Don’t expect Rick Ross to come clean and admit his watch is a replica.
Pathological liars don’t let little things like facts get in the way of their lies.
Ross, 48, responded to van Der Horst’s allegations by insulting his weight. Ross even tried to pull the race card.
“For the little fat guy in the one-cubicle office speaking on watches, speaking on Rick Ross and his Audemars, it’s unbelievable isn’t it, fat guy? Little piglet,” the rotund rapper said.
He continued: “‘Oh, Those emeralds are so rare. It would be so hard for a Black man to obtain such a rare timepiece.’ It’s a simple feat for a boss. Now, stay out of grown folks’ business, little piglet. Get outta that one-cubicle office and go and see the world. You on Rozay dick.”
