Simone Biles’ husband Jonathan Owens agreed to a 2-year deal with the Chicago Bears, according to his agent, Sunny Shah.
Owens, best known as Simone Biles’ husband, signed with the Bears as a free agent after playing for the Green Bay Packers last season.
The Bears signed Owens to a two-year contract on Tuesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Owens confirmed the news on Twitter/X on Tuesday.

Owens’s relieved wife, Simone, shared her excitement on Twitter/X.
“CHICAGO HERE HE COMES,” she wrote.
She praised the city’s location, writing, “Also, I just love the city of Chicago. I’m so excited about not having a connecting flight to go & see my husband hahahahaaha.”
Owens and Biles married in April 2023. Their marriage was tested in December when Owens said he is the “catch,” not her.
He made the comment during an appearance on “The Pivot” podcast.
