A Tiktok user paid $180 for a cute short set from Jaded London, a trendy online clothing store based in the UK.

“Imagine my surprise,” TikTok user Emma Silverman (@emmasilverman4) said in a video while showing the Shein tag. She explained to her 10,000 followers that she purchased the short set for her 21st birthday celebration.

“By the way, [I] rocked that shit. I looked bomb,” Silverman said in the video. “I got so many compliments. Just found it was from Shein. It’s from Shein!”

She continued:

“That’s insane. It’s so good. I got so many compliments, like, looks great, right? I bought this from the damn website, I was waiting and waiting and waiting. It was out of stock. I was like, ‘Yes! It’s in stock in my size!’ I could have bought it on Shein for probably, like, 10 bucks.”

Shein is a popular online clothing retailer based in China. Shein is able to sell clothing dirt cheap because they buy directly from the sweat shops in China.

Jaded London denies buying their clothing from Shein for $10.

The company’s official Twitter/X account said the brand has “no association with” Shein.

The company added that their designs are all done in-house, and that Shein and Fashion Nova copy Jaded London’s designs.
