A video on Beyonce’s Instagram page shows her washing and conditioning her natural hair using products from her haircare line.
In the video, Beyonce parts her hair in multiple sections to prove her tresses are growing from her scalp.
In a video voiceover, Beyonce says, “Now that Cécred is known for the quality and what it does for your hair, I think it’s about time I show y’all what it does for my hair.”

The video shows a stylist shampooing and conditioning her hair, which has blonde highlights.
“I love the lather, it’s very soothing, the smells,” she said. “Because my color was fresh we used the [Fermented] Rice & Rose Water Ritual conditioner ($52).”
She continued: “There’s nothing in the world like the conditioner. I love it. There’s nothing like it! I’m really proud of the quality.”
Beyonce said she applies a small amount of moisture seal before flat-ironing her hair on medium heat.
“The stigma and misconception is that people who wear wigs don’t have long and healthy hair,” she continued. “That’s some bull****, because it ain’t nobody business!”
She said she blow dries her hair on medium heat “because I try to stay away from as much heat as possible and using the old skool prison comb.”
Commenters online seemed convinced that Beyonce’s hair was not purchased in bundles from a store.
One person wrote: “I would never put on a wig if my hair was that beautiful.”
Another user added, “Sorry but you can’t sell hair care products and do all your promo in wigs or with added hair.”
A third person wrote: “Her hair is so gorgeous need to get me some Cécred.”
Others wondered why Beyonce bothers wearing wigs if that’s her real hair.
