LeBron James exchanged words with a woman seated court side after she called him a “crybaby” during Game 5 of the NBA Playoffs in Denver, Colorado on Monday.

The Denver Nuggets eliminated the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday night to send LeBron on an early vacation.

During the third quarter, LeBron, 39, complained after he was called for a foul against Nuggets center Nikola Jokic.

As LeBron angrily stalked the sideline, a woman called him a “crybaby.” The Lakers star retaliated with an aggressive move, as if he was going to hit her.

Fans booed LeBron as he mocked the woman and called her “Scary a–.”

The league gives a little leeway to fans with deep pockets who can afford a court side seat. Court side seats can go for $100,000 or more. That money helps to pay the salaries of arena staff.

Meanwhile, after the game, LeBron declined to comment on his plans to return to the Lakers next season. “I’m not going to answer that,” he told a reporter in the postgame conference. “I just want to get home to the family, honestly.”

LeBron, who previously said he wanted to play alongside eldest son Bronny in the NBA, told a reporter that he hasn’t “give much thought lately” to playing with Bronny.

“At the end of the day, the kid has to do what he wants to do,” he said. “I don’t even want to say kid anymore — the young man — will decide what he wants to do and how he wants his career to go. I just think the fact that we are having the conversation is pretty cool.”

After losing Game 3 in Los Angeles, LeBron was mocked for saying, “At the end of the day, it’s just basketball.”

Critics pointed to his “just basketball” comment as proof that he is a self-centered egotist.
