R&B legend Stevie Wonder presented Beyonce with the Innovator Award at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Monday at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

Stevie, 73, gave a lengthy speech praising Beyonce’s latest achievement as a “bonafide country music sensation.”

Since Stevie is blind and can’t see a teleprompter, someone recited his speech into his earpiece.

“No matter what you call her, she’s our 2024 iHeart Innovator,” Stevie said, before the person in his earpiece corrected him.

“Yo! Our 2024 iHeartRadio Innovator Beyonce!” Stevie said.

She also thanked iHeartRadio for calling her an innovator in country music.

“Being an innovator often means being criticized, which will often test your mental strength…” she said. “My hope is that we are more open to the joy and liberation that comes from enjoying art with no preconceived notions.”

According to Fashionista, Beyonce wore head-to-toe vintage Versace western wear for her big night.

Her black leather outfit featured Versace gold Medusa emblems, sequins and fringes. She accessorized her outfit with a black cowboy hat, Versace sunglasses, black pointy toe Versace boots and large diamond earrings.
