Cassie Ventura’s husband, Alex Fine, commented on horrific surveillance video that shows music producer Sean Combs attacking Cassie in a hotel.
The surveillance video from 2016 shows Combs wearing only a towel around his waist and running down a hallway at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, California.
As Cassie tries to get on an elevator, Combs catches up to her and throws her to the floor.
He then kicked her twice before dragging her down the hallway toward their hotel suite.
The video was obtained exclusively by CNN and aired on Friday.
In a social media post, Cassie’s husband, Alex Fine, responded to the video. He said real men don’t hit women.
“As men violence against women shouldn’t be inevitable, check your brothers, your friends, and your family. Our daughters, sisters, mothers, and wives should feel protected and loved. Hold the women in your life with the upmost regard. Men who hurt women hate women,” he wrote.
He continued: “To the abusers, you’re done, you’re not safe anymore, you’re not protected anymore, the men by your side are just as weak, you’re so miserable with yourself that d__th would be considered a kindness.”
In a statement on Friday, Cassie’s attorney Douglas Wigdor said: “The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs. Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.”
Combs quickly settled a multi-million dollar lawsuit with Cassie in November 2023.
However, the video has led many to speculate that Combs didn’t pay Cassie, or his check didn’t clear.
