NFL free agent Xavien Howard is under investigation for allegedly sending a boy nude photos of his own mother because she refused to get an abortion.
According to Dolphinswire.com, 2 women sued Howard in 2023 for sending them sexually explicit content.
One of the women claimed that she dated the ex-NFL player in 2022. After the relationship ended on a sour note, “Jane Doe” said she received a direct message on Instagram from a woman who claimed she was sent “several sexually explicit videos” of Howard having sex with various women, including Jane Doe.
The woman on Instagram told Doe that Howard sent her the videos “to make her mad because she didn’t want to have sex with him.”
In new court documents, obtained by the Miami Herald, attorneys allege that Howard also sent sexually explicit content to a woman’s son after she refused to get an abortion. The attorneys have petitioned for the minor to be allowed to sue Howard and be added to the lawsuit.
“This behavior is abhorrent, especially sending that to a child,” attorney Adriana Alcalde told the Miami Herald.
Howard, a 30-year-old cornerback, was picked by the Miami Dolphins in the second round of the 2016 NFL draft. The 4-time Pro Bowler and 2-time All-Pro member led the league in interceptions twice.
He was released by the Dolphins in March and is currently a free agent.
According to CBS Sports, Howard had three years remaining on his five-year, $90 million contract. The contract was not guaranteed.
