Social media influencer Andrew Tate was arrested again on new charges involving sex with two 15-year-old girls.

Romanian police raided Tate’s home on Wednesday morning. Tate had been posting about the raid on his social media pages.

News footage shows the influencer talking to the media while handcuffed before being hauled off to prison.

The new charges stem from allegations by two teens who say Tate messaged them on Instagram to work for him.

Tate has admitted sleeping with 16-year-old girls – which is legal in Romania. He recruits teenage girls to work for him making webcam videos.

Romania’s office for organized crime (DIICOT), said four search warrants were executed at Tate’s home. Police were looking for evidence of “trafficking in minors”, “sexual relations with a minor” and “money laundering”.

Tate, 37, was previously arrested on human trafficking charges in Romania in 2022. His brother Tristan and two Romanian women were also charged with sex trafficking.

The brothers were held in a Romanian prison for several months before being released on home detention in early 2023. Tate was awaiting trial on those charges when he was arrested on Wednesday.

The former professional kickboxer is accused of luring vulnerable girls to his compound in Romania and forcing them to perform sex acts on webcam for money. Tate is alleged to have taken all the money the women earned.

Tate is known for his misogynistic posts on social media where he has millions of followers.

He was reinstated on Twitter after Elon Musk purchased the app for $44 billion in October 2022.
