A mother of 4 was gunned down by her ex-boyfriend as she begged for her life outside a house on Atlanta’s southeast side.

11Alive News obtained Ring camera footage that shows Courtney Reese, 32, begging for her life before the man shot her multiple times.

The incident happened on Tuesday night at a house on Springside Drive off Cleveland Avenue in southeast Atlanta.

According to social media posts, Reese’s ex-boyfriend followed her home and chased her to a neighbor’s house.

Reese screamed, “There go my baby! Please! Please, I don’t. Please!”

The man pointed his gun at Reese and pulled the trigger, but the gun jammed. He cleared the jam and shot her 10 times.

After shooting Reese, the man fled down the driveway and into the night.

Reese leaves behind 4 children — three girls, ages 13, 9, and 6, and an 11-year-old boy.

The family launched a GoFundMe to raise money for funeral expenses. So far, $2,750 has been raised.

“Never in a million years did we think we would have to be going through the most horrific tragedy ever,” wrote Reese’s sister, Tiniquewa Reese. “My sister did not deserve to leave this earth the way that she did.”

Reese’s aunt told 11Alive that Reese’s younger sister, Sametria, was killed by gun violence on May 24 in DeKalb County, Georgia. No suspect has been arrested in Sametria’s death.
