Rapper Chris “Ludacris” Bridges threw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the Atlanta Braves vs the Colorado Rockies game at Truist Park on Wednesday, September 04, in Atlanta, Georgia.

He brought the same big arms that he wore in his “Get Back” music video.

Wednesday was Luda Day at Truist Park, as the Atlanta Braves honored Ludacris for his impact on Atlanta’s music scene.

As part of Luda Day, the Braves gave the first 15,000 fans exclusive Ludacris bobblehead dolls. The bobblehead features the Grammy-Award-winning rapper wearing a Hank Aaron jersey with a microphone in his right hand. He wears a gold watch on the other hand.

The Braves also paid tribute to the rap star with a set from the rapper’s official DJ, photo stations from his album artwork, and a “Luda’s at the Battery” food truck inspired by Ludacris’ Chicken and Beer restaurant.

Ludacris’ Chicken and Beer restaurant opened at Atlanta’s Hartsfield Jackson International Airport (Concourse D) in 2016.

The menu includes Southern staples such as dirty rice, green tomato chutney, blackened catfish, collard greens and, of course, chicken and waffles.

Ludacris recently made headlines when he drank glacier water in Alaska. The trend recently went viral on TikTok.

Luda, who has millions of followers on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter), sparked concerns for his well-being. However, glacier ice is so cold that parasites can’t survive.

“He’s totally fine,” glaciologist Martin Truffer told the Associated Press on Wednesday.

“It’s sort of understandable that somebody would be concerned about just drinking untreated water. But if you drink water from a melt stream on a glacier, that’s about the cleanest water you’ll ever get.”
