Cardi B suffered a teleprompter glitch at Kamala Harris’ campaign rally in Wisconsin on Friday night. Cardi’s teleprompter broke after she walked onstage to her hit song, “Bodak Yellow.”

She stood at the podium for a full minute while attendees cheered and called her name. “One second guys, one second,” she said while pointing to the teleprompter.

“Ok, so I don’t take lightly the call,” she said before pausing again.

“Sorry guys, I’m a little nervous. I’m a little nervous guys! I’ve been waiting for this moment my whole life,” she said as the crowd continued to cheer.

“I need Patience over here. Patience, where are you girl?” Cardi B said, referring to a staffer.

Another 2 minutes went by. Then Cardi B ad-libbed her speech off the top of her head.

“Hold on, hold on, hold on, how you guys doing tonight?” she asked the cheering crowd. “How are you guys doing tonight? Are we ready to make history? Are we ready to make history? Are we ready to change these four years? No, are we ready to change the next eight years? Because we’re gonna make sure we have Kamala Harris in office for eight years!”

A staffer brought Cardi B a cell phone with her prepared speech on the screen.

“I took my time writing this speech so I’m going to make sure I deliver it right,” Cardi B told the crowd.

Cardi B discussed women’s rights to have abortions, the economy, healthcare, and more. She also rebuked Harris’ Republican opponent, former President Donald J. Trump.

Harris supporters on a manosphere board were disappointed that the Democratic candidate paid Cardi B to speak at the rally.

One man said, “I do know her choices for speakers to endorse her for women’s rights are straight trash though. I have not seen one classy highly educated role model black woman speak for her yet. Just paid celebrity’s and ignorant tw3rk rapper girls.”

Another member wrote, “I thought Beyoncé was posed to be the complete infinity gauntlet endorsement and somebody said, we should get Cardi.”
