Dame Dash reacted to Donald Trump defeating Vice President Kamala Harris in a decisive victory to win back the White House on Nov. 5. In a recent podcast, Dame seemed to confirm rumors that Harris’s campaign “leveraged” Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs’ indictment to get his celebrity pals to endorse her.
Dame noted that Harris had B- and C-list celebrities, such as Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B and GloRilla. But she needed bold name artists, such as Beyonce and Taylor Swift to endorse her. Unfortunately, those stars had busy schedules.
Then Combs was arrested in New York — and suddenly, all the A-listers cleared their schedules to speak at Harris’ rallies.
Dame said he wondered why Combs was arrested so close to the election.
“Like, I believe they leveraged the Puff thing so well, like, I’m looking and I’m like, well they didn’t have any celebrities. The celebrities they had were like C minus — mo disrespect to anybody…”
He went on to suggest that Harris convinced A-list celebrities to support her by having the feds arrest Combs to get their attention.
“I thought Kamala – she really invested a lot in the people that may have been at the Puff parties,” Dame said. “It’s a grey area there, so what they did there was … they made sure everybody – not just Black and Hip-Hop – the whole world knew who Puff was and what he was accused of.”
Dame suggested that the feds released information about Combs’ freak-off parties — but not who attended the parties.
“They never said exactly who those celebrities were. So until further notice, it’s every celebrity until somebody speaks up,” Dame added.
The feds seized surveillance tapes during raids at Combs’ homes in March. They allegedly leaked videos to media outlets under the pretense of shopping the tapes.
The videos were recorded secretly. Anyone who attended parties at Combs’ homes could assume they were on the tapes.
Dame said the celebrities who rushed to speak at Harris’ rallies all had something to lose because they were likely in those videos doing questionable things.
“A lot of the people I saw speaking on those stages were celebrities that may be in the grey area. They may have been hot. They may have had those affiliations,” he said.
Dame pointed to posts made by Elon Musk on X (formerly Twitter) before the election.
“Yet another party participant,” Elon wrote in one post, referring to rapper Eminem who spoke at a Harris rally.
Dame explained, “Every time someone endorsed Kamala, Elon would say ‘Why would you trust them? They were at a Puff party.’ And then he would put that in the algorithm. He does AI – he knows behavior patterns. He owns social media.”
